COBB Accessport V3 for the Porsche 997.1 GT3 and GT3 RS
This covers the 997.1 GT3 and GT3 RS. It reflashes the factory DME over the OBD-II port, which on a naturally aspirated Mezger engine means sharper throttle mapping and a stronger top end rather than a big peak number.
COBB lists World Market support for this platform, so it suits Australian-delivered cars. The 3.6 and 3.8-litre cars take different calibrations, so tell us which you have.
What to expect from a GT3
A GT3 is already highly strung. The gain here is drivability and response, not slamming in a huge boost increase. If you are chasing lap times, a proper custom tune on a dyno is the next step after the OTS map.
